Jack (umm, that would be Jill) of All Trades and an Expert of...
well...at Least a Few
You thought I was going to say expert of none...huh? Well sometimes I do feel that way but after crafting and working with my hands for over 40 years, [my mother had me working in her sewing business as soon as I was able to iron and fold hems] I decided I knew a thing or two on some topics. Here is where I write about my interest. Come join the conversation.
After teaching basics to beading over the last 10 years in my local community and craft stores I wanted to bring my teaching to the web. If you are interested in beading basics then follow along in my journey as I journal about DIY jewelry. I share thoughts, ideas, resources and tutorials in beading for beginners. I have taught men, women and children (including my own) in many different venues and I share lots here so come on in and bring your beading buddy with you.

Becoming a stay/work at home mother was my life's dream. May not seem to lofty of a dream to some but it was my greatest desire to raise my children without having to share my attention with an employer. My mother didn't get to do that and there are no regrets but it created a determination in me to be able to provide that for my children. Mother was very proud of the fact that was the road I chose. It doesn't happen alone though, I have a supportive husband and we are a team. So mothering for almost 20 years one learns several things and I share thoughts and snippets of some of those experiences and even some of my favorite recipes (believe me that's a minor miracle, I don't consider myself much of a cook but I do have a few that work well for me).
