Do you ever feel like things are never the same? What you just got use to yesterday changes tomorrow.
I believe it is called life.
Life is in a constant transition. Life never stands still. Life never stays the same.
Yes some things may stay familiar. Maybe you live in the same house, same area for many, many years, some their whole life. But you life still changes around you.
Some of life transitions are good; marriage, children, new friends. Some changes are necessary; changing jobs, moving to a new or larger home. Some changes are unexpected; death of a loved one, illness, loss of work.
How do you deal with your seasons of life whether good or bad?
Do you place your trust in the Lord when times are scary, shaken, unsure?
Do you praise God when times are rejoicing, happy and life is full of blessings?
Take stock of where you are with your walk in your life's season. If you find that you need a hand up or a listening ear then you may consider finding someone that can help.
Either way, don't let life's changes stand in your way of continually moving fwd. Grab that moment with your children while they are still at home and want to be with you, or take that time to have lunch with your spouse.
Be mindful, watchful and intentional of every moment you live.
Once that moment is gone, it is gone and there is no getting it back.
I turned 50 this year and I have become very aware of my season. I work to grab it, live it and love what ever is placed in my path. After dealing with feelings of excessive isolation I never lost sight of wanting to be fully engaged with raising my children and watching them grow.
There will always be work to do, house cleaning, business to operate but raising my children is a once in a lifetime event. Literally! I will never get the opportunity to raise my children again and I had better do it now or face the strong chance of living with regret.
We do without and do with less but we are a happy family. This is the season of my life, right now.
Facing the realization of my isolation and knowing if I did not do something about it, I would be swallowed up and loose this time. I began reaching for help and found coaching.
Huh? Coaching? What's that? To put it simply, a coach is a support for you, listens to you and works with you to find your solutions for what you are dealing with.
I was so moved by it that I became a certified coach and now I want to share it with you.
If you find yourself dealing with some life struggles because you are in a transition of a new season I would encourage you to check out more information about coaching and schedule a free introductory session.
Life transitions will continue so I challenge you to face it with your best and do something about now.
