Smartphones have almost become a necessity in today’s society, and beading buddies haven’t been immune to the trend. Many of you probably find yourselves glancing at your smartphones from time to time as you bead, and there’s no shame in that. But why not use your smartphone to help in your beading too? The amount of time we spend on our phones has continued to increase. Reports have shown that we now spend 23 days a year on our phones, and AlchemyBet, the company behind mobile gaming website Pocket Fruity, has also revealed that people have admitted to playing on their phones in the most inopportune places: “10% confessed to playing mobile games in church or a place of worship, whilst driving or in the cinema. 9% said they had played at a sporting event and 8% revealed that they’d played games on their mobile in a class at school.”
July 2nd my life's mentor had to leave me. My mother entered the gates of larger life.
Then just a short 6 weeks later I also lost another 'parent' like mentor and I must now learn to find my path in this new world without them.  Are you creative?
You have probably asked yourself that question at some time or another. What are you creative in? Is creativity limited with just working with your hands or does it effect other areas of your life and incorporate your other senses? I feel I am a very creative seamstress but lack in creativity with my cooking, I do much better turning out a tasty meal for my family when I follow a recipe.
